Our Story

We opened our doors in Glasgow in 2018 with a simple observation: despite living in an age of unprecedented financial complexity, most people receive no formal education about managing money. Schools teach algebra but not budgeting. Universities explain macroeconomics but not how to read a payslip.

Our founders, both former financial services professionals, saw this gap daily in their work. Clients who earned substantial salaries but lived payday to payday. Young professionals paralysed by student debt. Parents unsure how to teach their children about money because no one had taught them.

What Makes Us Different

We are not selling investment products or financial services. Our only interest is your understanding. This independence means we can teach principles without hidden agendas.

Our curriculum evolves constantly. When cryptocurrency became mainstream, we developed modules explaining blockchain without hype. When the cost of living increased, we added sessions on energy efficiency and household budgeting. We teach what matters now.

Finally, an organisation that explains finance without trying to sell me something. The neutrality is refreshing and you can tell the teachers genuinely want you to learn.

Our Teaching Philosophy

Principles that guide everything we do

1

No Jargon Unless Necessary

Financial services love complicated terminology. We translate it into plain language, only introducing technical terms when you genuinely need them.

2

Practical Over Theoretical

Every concept links to real decisions you will face. We use actual bills, real interest rates, and genuine scenarios from daily life.

3

No Shame in Not Knowing

Many adults feel embarrassed about financial knowledge gaps. Our classrooms are judgement-free zones where every question is welcome.

4

Age-Appropriate Methods

Children learn through games and stories. Teenagers through discussion and debate. Adults through analysis and application. We adapt our methods accordingly.

Our Glasgow Home

We chose Glasgow for our headquarters because this city understands value. Practical, no-nonsense, and community-minded. Our premises on Buchanan Street sit in the commercial heart of the city, easily accessible from all areas.

The building itself reflects our approach. Modern but not flashy. Professional but welcoming. Our classrooms feature comfortable seating, excellent acoustics, and technology that supports learning without dominating it.
